National Youth Conference 2025 (राष्ट्रिय युवा सम्मेलन २०२५): The National Youth Conference 2025 (NYC2025), organized by Nepal Youth Council (NYC) on the occasion of International Youth Day 2025, is a premier platform for young changemakers across Nepal. This conference will bring together 220 youth delegates from all 77 districts of Nepal, along with policymakers, experts, and industry leaders, to discuss and address key national and global challenges. The event aims to foster youth leadership, entrepreneurship, governance, climate action, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while promoting cultural heritage and local innovations. Proposed date of Conference is 12-15 August, 2025 at Kathmandu Nepal.
Each year, NYC organizes the National Youth Conference with a different theme and concept. This year, the focus will be on youth engagement and participation in policymaking, promoting local products, foods, and seeds, and highlighting their significance in daily life. Additionally, the event will address the challenges of misinformation and disinformation, particularly in the context of climate change.
WHO ARE WE:
Nepal Youth Council (NYC): Nepal Youth Council (NYC) is a youth-led organization dedicated to empowering young people across Nepal. It works on youth advocacy, leadership development, policy engagement, and community-driven initiatives. NYC organizes conferences, training, and awareness programs on themes like SDGs, democracy, climate action, and good governance. With a presence in all 7 provinces and 77 districts, NYC plays a key role in uniting and mobilizing youth for positive social change.
