ICT has played a crucial role in young people’s lives to uplift their knowledge and create a better lifestyle in a much easier way. The availability of technology has also unintentionally provided today’s youth the means to multi-task and process various sources of information quickly. #ICT provides the means for today’s youth to be more creative and explore different areas of society and nation. The  effective technology has connected people from various communities with the same interests, and provided new opportunities to people especially youths. The innovative potential of young people, combined with the power of technology, is already proving to be a powerful force on the road to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

Youths of this generation contribute to job opportunities, access to inclusive and   quality education, economic upliftment of marginalized communities, and the promotion of better health systems. ICT helps in addressing social and economic problems caused by the fast growth of urban youth populations in developing countries by offering opportunities to young people for learning, skill development and employment. Keeping this in mind, NYC aims to educate and aware nepali youths to use ICT in a proper way through different events by bringing dynamic speakers and personalities working in this field. Youths are the agents of change and if they are introduced with Information and Communication technology, it will help them drastically to uplift their as well as country’s economic, socio-political status.
