नेपाल युवा परिषदले देशका बिभिन्न क्षेत्रमा सक्रिय रुपमा कार्य गर्दै आईरहेको सामाजिक अभियान्ताहरुलाई थप प्रोत्साहन गर्दै उनीहरुलाई अझै हौसला प्रदान गरी सक्रियताका साथ काम गर्न प्रेरित गर्ने हेतुका साथ यस अवार्डको परिकल्पना गरेका हौ । यस अवार्ड कार्यक्रममले हाम्रो जस्तो देशमा स्वंयसेवी भावनाले काम गर्ने व्यक्तिहरुलाई प्रोत्साहन गर्दछ। जसले गर्दा सामाजिक रुपातन्रणमा थप टेवा पुग्दछ। युवाहरुलाई सामाजिक कार्य तथा स्वमंसेवी पनमा प्रोत्साहन गर्नको लागि नेपाल युवा परिषदले अवार्ड कार्यक्रमको सुरुवात गरेको हो ।

𝑨𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒔 𝑪𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒈𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝑫𝒆𝒔𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏
𝟏) 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫: A person who has been successful to let the world know about Nepal by working in the field of youth at the national and international levels. A young person who has been successful in motivating thousands of youth will be honored by this Award. (राष्ट्रिय तथा अन्तराष्ट्रिय स्तरमा युवाको क्षेत्रमा काम गरी नेपालको नाम अन्तराष्ट्रिय स्तरमा फैलाउन सफल व्यक्तित्व, हजारौंको संख्यामा युवाहरुलाई उत्प्रेणा जगाउन सफल एक युवालाई यस अर्वाडबाट सम्मान गरिनेछ।)

𝟐) 𝐈𝐂𝐎𝐍 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐥: We honor a person who has contributed to the community for at least 5 years and has worked actively in social change as a whole with this award, as well as a social campaigner who has worked for social change and social transformation within Nepal. (कम्तिमा ५ बर्ष भन्दा माथि सामाजिक कार्य गरेको र समग्रमा समाज परिर्वतनमा सक्रिय रुपमा काम गरेको व्यक्ति साथै नेपाल भित्र रहि समाज परिवर्तन र सामाजिक रुपान्तरणका लागि कार्य गरेका एक सामाजिक अभियान्तालाई यस सम्मानबाट सम्मानित गर्दछौ ।)

𝟑) 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐬: People who contribute to the society and nation by working in extreme conditions including pandemics and disaster management will be awarded. It will be awarded to one of those who rise above their personal interests and contribute to society and the nation during disasters such as earthquakes, covid pandemics, and other natural disasters. (महामारी, बिपद ब्यवस्थापन लगायत विषम परिस्थितीमा काम गरी समाज र राष्ट्रलाई योगदान पुर्याउने व्यक्तिको कार्यलाई उच्च सम्मान गरी प्रदान गरिनेछ। महाभुकम्प, कोभिड महामारी, बाढीपहिरो जस्ता विपदहरूमा आफ्नो व्यक्तिगत स्वार्थभन्दा माथि उठी समाज र राष्ट्रलाई योगदान पुर्याउनेहरु मध्येबाट एक जनालाई प्रदान गरिनेछ।) 

𝟒) 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫: This award will be given to the person or organization who has contributed to the society and the nation individually or institutionally with the spirit of selflessness. This award is being given with the objective of giving more encouragement to the person or organization who has been working voluntarily for more than 5 years. (स्वंमसेवी भावना सहित व्यक्तिगत वा संस्थागत रुपमा समाज र राष्ट्रलाई योगदान पु¥याउने व्यक्ति वा संस्थालाई निस्वार्थ भावनाले आफ्नो व्यक्तिगत/संस्थागत स्वार्थ भन्दा माथि उठेर समाजलाई योगदान पु¥याएका व्यक्तिलाई वा  संस्थालाई यो अवार्ड प्रदान गरिनेछ। करिब ५ बर्ष भन्दा माथि स्वंमसेवी भई कार्य गरिरहेको व्यक्तिलाई अथवा संस्थालाई थप हौसला प्रदान गर्ने उदेश्यका साथ यो अवार्ड वितरण गर्न लागिएको हो ।)

𝟓) 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫:  This award is being given to one of the people who have contributed to social change through social entrepreneurship. People who have contributed to social transformation through business profits will fall under this category. (सामाजिक उद्यमशीलता गरी आफु र त्यस व्यवसायबाट आयआर्जन भएका मध्ये केही आम्दानीलाई समाज रुपान्तरणमा नै लगाई त्यसबाट थप सामाजिक परिवर्तनमा योगदान गरेका मध्येहरुबाट एक जनालाई यो अवार्ड प्रदान गर्न लागिएको हो।) 

𝟔) 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫: This award will be given to a young person who has succeeded in establishing themselves as a source of inspiration for other youths. This award will be given to the person who succeeds in making their own identity in society by doing exemplary work in any field. (पृथक ढंगबाट कार्य गरी अन्य युवाहरुको पनि प्रेरणाको स्रोतको रुपमा आफुलाई उभ्याउन सफल एक युवालाई यस अवार्डबाट सम्मान गरिनेछ । जुनसुकै क्षेत्रमा भएपनि उदारणीय कार्य गरी समाजमा आफ्नो छुट्टै पहिचान बनाउन सफल व्यक्तिलाई यस अवार्ड प्रदान गरिनेछ।)

𝟕) 𝐒𝐃𝐆𝐬 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫: This award is being given to a person who has contributed to the empowerment of the youth and the society by promoting sustainable development goals through various means. This award will be given to the person who is working on all or any of the goals of the Sustainable Development Goals and will be given to the campaigner who will promote Nepal’s highest contribution to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. (दिगो विकास लक्ष्यहरुलाई बिभिन्न माध्यमबाट प्रचारप्रसार गरी युवाहरु तथा समाजलाई थप सशक्तिकरण गर्न योगदान पु¥याउने एक व्यक्तिलाई उहाँको उत्कृष्ट कार्यको मुल्याकंन गर्दै यो अवार्ड प्रदान गर्न लागिएको हो । दिगो विकास लक्ष्यका सबै लक्ष्यहरु वा कुनै एक वा एक भन्दा लक्ष्यहरुलाई प्राथमिकतामा राखि कार्य गरिरहेको व्यक्तिहरुलाई यस अवार्ड बाट पुरस्कृत गरी सन् २०३० सम्म दिगो विकास लक्ष्य प्राप्तीमा नेपालको उच्चतम योगदानलाई बढवा दिने अभियान्तालाई प्रदान गरिनेछ।)

𝟖) 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫: This award will be given to a media person who is actively working in various fields such as youth, social transformation work, entrepreneurship, agriculture, and tourism through various media to motivate the youth. (युवा, सामाजिक रुपान्तरणका कार्यहरु, उद्यमशीलता, कृषि, पर्यटन जस्ता क्षेत्रहरु मध्ये कुनै एक क्षेत्रमा सकिृय तवरले बिभिन्न मिडियाको माध्यमबाट प्रचारप्रसार गरी युवाहरुलाई समेत उत्प्रेरणा दिने तरिकाबाट कार्य गरिरहेको एक मिडियाकर्मीलाई यस अवार्डले पुरस्कृत गरिनेछ।)

𝟗) 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝: This award will be given to a person who works for human welfare. A youth who is engrossed in human service for the benefit of society and the nation, whose work may have radically changed the life of a human being. (मानवका लागि मानव हितका लागि काम गर्ने एक व्यक्तिलाई यस अवार्डबाट सम्मान गरिने छ । जुन समाज राष्ट्रको हितमा लागि मानवसेवा तल्लीन रहने युवा जसको कामबाट कुनै मानवको जिवनमा आमुल परिवर्तन आएको हुन सक्छ ।)

𝟏𝟎) युवा उद्यमी 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝: The award will be given to a young entrepreneur who contributes to society through corporate social responsibility by investing in one of the various business sectors and providing employment to a large number of youth and people. ( युवा, जसले बिभिन्न व्यवसाय क्षेत्रहरु मध्ये कुनै एक क्षेत्रमा लगानी गरी धेरै संख्यामा युवाहरु तथा मानिसहरुलाई रोजगार प्रदान गरी राज्यलाई कर तिर्दै सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व अन्तर्गत Corporate  Social Responsibility मार्फत यस समाजमा योगदान पुराउने एक युवा उद्यमीलाई अवार्ड प्रदान गरिनेछ ।)

Criteria:
1) Must be 18 years or above
2) Must be a Nepali citizen
3) Must have a visible record in community service
4) Should fit into the award category

Awards will be decided on the basis of:
1) Level of impact created by the work
2) Quality of the achievements
3) Quality of the evidence provided in support of the achievements
4) Future vision or continuity of their work
